Many schools in the District of Columbia lack the technology needed for today’s education.   The Foundation provides funding for schools and education initiatives in D.C., including: providing iPads to the Washington School for Girls in Ward 8, the CityBridge Breakthrough schools and, and sponsoring STEM programs in D.C. schools.

The TDF Foundation has also provide STEM Scholarships for students majoring in the sciences.  Since 2014, the Foundation has given STEM scholarships to nine different high-achieving veterans and low-income high school students, partnering with the College Success Foundation’s Leadership 1000 Scholarship program.

Additionally, the Foundation has supported Don Bosco schools and believes in the schools blended curriculum for high school students, which combines high-quality education and hands on work experience for their students. Historically, 100% of their students are accepted to college.
